Joseph M. Burke, PMP
As Vice President, Mr. Burke is responsible for operations, program management, business development, industry relations and alliances, account planning, and business growth.
Mr. Burke has over 4 decades of progressive experience in the military and private industry. A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Air Force, and a Retired Air Force Reserve Officer, his varied experience includes operations and maintenance of shipboard propulsion, electric power, intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), and command, control, communications, computer (C4) systems. As a U.S. Air Force Officer, he served as a Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander (DMCC), Standardization/Evaluation DMCC, and Missile Combat Crew Commander (MCCC). Prior to joining KaylaTek, Mr. Burke held various senior operations and executive business development positions for SAIC, General Dynamics Information Technology, Perot Systems, Serco, Link Solutions, Inc. and Powertek Corporation.
Mr. Burke is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with specialized experience in project management and program management of software development, system/software test, software IV&V and information technology services. He has also managed Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) information technology programs involving up to 17 project task orders valued at $46 Million per year in revenue, with personnel at diverse locations in the United States and internationally.
A member of the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), the Association of Air Force Missileers (AAFM), the Air Force Command, Control, Communications and Computers Association (AFC4A), the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the U.S. Coast Guard Lightship Sailors Association (LSA), Mr. Burke is a Past AFA Chapter President and a Past AFA National Director – At Large.
Mr. Burke earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Management (cum laude) from University System of New Hampshire Granite State College and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.
